Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our transportation team. .80 cent+hst per mile This role involves operating heavy-duty trucks over long distances to deliver freight efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, knowledge of freight handling, and the ability to operate heavy equipment as needed. Responsibilities
- Safely operate long-haul trucks across various routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Transport freight efficiently from origin to destination while maintaining delivery schedules
- Perform routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle logs
- Conduct basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle readiness
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery status or issues encountered during transit
- Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper securing of freight and adherence to hours-of-service regulations
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving, preferably with long-haul routes
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards
- Ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, and perform basic automotive repairs is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and compliance requirements.
- Prior experience with heavy equipment operation is advantageous
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening

Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
