We have an opening for a Foam Encased Mattress Assembler at our Calgary factory.
As a Foam Encased Mattress Assembler, you will work under the direction of the Production Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Builds the foam rail encasement components and places it on assembly table.
- Properly constructs the foam encased mattress by placing the correct spring(s) into the encasement then gluing on the various foam and upholstery layers as identified on the law tag.
- Removes mattress from table and places it on the builder’s conveyor.
Requirements, skills and qualifications
- Able to read and write English.
- Able to perform moderate physical activity requiring handling of average-weight objects up to 25kg or standing and/or walking for eight (8) hours per day
- Pro-active individual capable of identifying problems, recommending solutions, and implementing corrective actions either individually or as part of a team.
