Inside Sales Representative | Mississauga, ON | Hybrid
Base Salary 60-70K (pending experience) + performance based incentive + RRSP offering + comprehensive benefits program
About the Opportunity:
Our client is a well-established manufacturer of premium hardwood flooring products, supplying customers across North America through a network of distributors, dealers and flooring professionals. Known for delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service, they have built a strong reputation within the building materials industry and continue to experience steady growth.
As part of their continued expansion, they are looking to add an Inside Sales Representative to their collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in distribution or building materials who enjoys building customer relationships, supporting the sales process and working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The successful candidate will become a trusted point of contact for customers while partnering closely with the outside sales team to help drive continued business growth.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through phone and email communication.
- Process customer orders accurately while managing revisions, returns, credits and other order-related requests.
- Prepare quotations, verify pricing and product availability, and provide customers with timely updates.
- Work closely with Outside Sales Representatives to support customer accounts and identify opportunities to grow existing business.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, order status, inventory and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with operations, logistics and internal departments to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Utilize Salesforce, ERP systems and other internal software to manage customer information and sales activities.
- Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Maintain accurate customer records and support continuous process improvements.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous Inside Sales, Customer Service or Sales Support experience within distribution, manufacturing or the building materials industry.
- Experience supporting contractors, dealers, distributors or commercial customers is considered a strong asset.
- Strong relationship-building skills with a genuine customer-first mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with experience preparing quotations, processing orders and coordinating customer requests.
- Comfortable learning technical products and becoming a trusted resource for customers.
- Experience using CRM and ERP systems such as Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, M3 or similar platforms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
