The challenges that await you
You are responsible for the planning, organization, and control of operations related to snow removal, maintenance of the road network, public utilities, and parks. You guide, mobilize, and develop a team of managers responsible for these activities. You perform cost control and monitoring related to these activities and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and collective agreements. Additionally, you ensure that your supervisory staff ensures the application of health and safety rules and procedures at work and takes necessary preventive measures.
Results-oriented and demonstrating excellent adaptability, you stand out with your customer approach. You ensure effective and efficient operation planning. Your mobilization skills and leadership enable you to lead your team towards achieving results while maintaining strong relationships and partnerships with all stakeholders.
The ideal profile for us
- Hold a college diploma (DEC) in civil engineering or a college certificate (AEC) in urban infrastructure foremanship or in supervising a team of employees;
- Hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, an asset;
- Eight (8) years of relevant experience, including managing unionized personnel;
- Recognized technical skills in public works;
- Must possess training in safety for construction sites (SST);
- Class 5 driver's license.
