Job Overview
Star Plumbing Inc. is seeking a motivated and reliable Journeyman Plumber/Gasfitter or Apprentice (1st–3rd Year) to join our growing team. This role focuses primarily on residential rough-in plumbing, working on new construction projects.
Journeyman applicants should bring strong, hands-on experience, while 2nd–3rd year apprentices should demonstrate a clear drive to develop their skills and grow within the trade.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and assemble residential rough-in piping systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Safely and effectively use hand tools and power tools
- Work collaboratively with other trades (carpenters, HVAC, etc.) to meet project timelines
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
Qualifications & Requirements
- Journeyman certification (for journeyman applicants) or active apprenticeship registration
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of plumbing systems
- Ability to read blueprints and perform basic measurements and calculations
- Experience using plumbing tools and equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Physically capable of handling the demands of the trade

Pay: $21.00-$42.00 per hour
