Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair, demonstrating proficiency in maintaining and assembling various vehicle components. This role requires hands-on experience with both hand tools and power tools, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Automotive Mechanic will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring vehicles are serviced efficiently and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and assembly tasks.
- Weld components as necessary to ensure structural integrity of vehicle parts.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex automotive problems.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive repair, preferably within a dealership or similar environment.
- Familiarity with schematics and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Experience with heavy lifting as required for vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
