We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Operative to join our construction team. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to assist with construction activities
- Assist with paving operations, including preparation, laying, and finishing surfaces
- Support various construction tasks such as site preparation, material handling, and cleanup
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met
- Assist in setting up and breaking down job sites as needed
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies throughout daily activities
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is a plus
- Experience with paving projects is advantageous
- Construction experience demonstrating familiarity with site safety and procedures is desirable
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for transportation to various job sites

Pay: $16.10-$31.63 per hour
