FixOne is a growing Ontario service company providing residential and commercial repair and installation services, including garage doors, doors and windows, locksmith services, and other property repair solutions.
We are looking for a Field Service Technician to join our Sudbury-area team.
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys practical work, learning new skills, and working directly with customers. Previous trade experience is an asset, but it is not required. Training is provided for the right candidate.
What you'll do
- Travel to residential and commercial customer locations
- Assist with repairs, installations, replacements, and maintenance
- Work with doors, windows, garage doors, hardware, and related equipment
- Use hand and power tools safely and appropriately
- Diagnose basic service issues with support from experienced technicians
- Prepare tools, materials, and equipment for service calls
- Maintain an organized and safe work area
- Communicate professionally with customers at job sites
- Complete basic service documentation and job records
- Follow company safety procedures and technician instructions
What we're looking for

- Basic ability to use or learn hand and power tools
- Good problem-solving and practical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional attitude when working in customers' homes and businesses
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Previous experience in construction, renovation, installation, maintenance, general labour, home improvement, or a skilled trade is an asset.
No previous field-service experience is required. Training will be provided.
