Job Title: Labourer

Position Summary:
Shortek Edmonton Inc. is seeking a hardworking and reliable Labourer to join our team for site work. This position involves a variety of physical tasks supporting drilling and shoring projects in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, and willing to work outdoors in varying conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general manual labour duties on construction/job sites
- Assist with site setup, cleanup, and material handling
- Operate skid steer and other small equipment safely and efficiently
- Use hand tools and power tools as required
- Assist with carpentry-related tasks, forming, bracing, and temporary works
- Load/unload materials and equipment
- Follow site safety procedures and company policies
- Work with crew members to complete projects on schedule
- Out of town work will be a required. (LOA provided)
Qualifications:
- Previous labourer or construction experience preferred
- Experience operating skid steer considered a strong asset
- Experience using power tools required
- Carpentry experience considered an asset
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
