Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced person to oversee daily operations within our food service establishment for Night Shift 10pm-6am. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive background in the food industry, including serving, food preparation, and ensuring food safety standards. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage team members, uphold quality standards, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. The person will play a vital role in maintaining efficient kitchen operations and fostering a positive environment for both staff and guests.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly to meet quality standards and presentation expectations
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and proper handling procedures at all times
- Assist with serving guests, taking orders, and providing excellent customer service
- Train new team members on food handling, safety protocols, and restaurant procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with management to develop menu items that align with restaurant standards and customer preferences
- Handle guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
Experience
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant operations, or the food industry with a focus on meal preparation and food safety
- Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of food handling techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment operation
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food service environments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively
- Experience working in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
