Overview
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Vac Truck Driver to operate tandem axle vac trucks servicing construction projects and commercial clients throughout the city. This is a full-time position based out of Port Coquitlam, with overtime frequently available.
Duties
- Operate tandem axle septic/vac trucks to service job sites and commercial clients
- Complete and submit daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Pump and transport septic and liquid waste in accordance with safety and environmental regulations
- Maintain proper documentation and service logs
- Ensure the vac truck is kept clean and in good working order
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers on-site
- Comply with all safety protocols and company policies
- Assist with basic automotive repair and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Operate other trucks as required
Requirements
- Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with Air Brake Endorsement (required)
- Experience operating Vac Trucks / Septic Trucks (required)
- Strong understanding of job site operations, especially construction sites
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Physically capable of manual labour and outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and safety-first mindset
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record.
- Experience with automotive repair is a plus.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Pay: $36.00-$42.00 per hour
