Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Technician to maintain cleanliness and safety across residential and commercial facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience with custodial tasks, facilities maintenance, and the use of various hand and power tools. This role requires excellent time management, communication skills, and a strong commitment to customer service. As a Cleaning Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients' environments are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for maintenance tasks and minor repairs
- Conduct facilities maintenance duties, including light repairs and troubleshooting when necessary
- Operate heavy lifting equipment safely to move furniture or supplies as needed
- Follow established cleaning protocols to ensure high standards of hygiene and safety
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and maintenance performed
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to address specific needs or concerns
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use
Requirements
- Proven custodial or commercial and resedental cleaning experience preferred
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks and the use of hand tools and power tools
- Strong understanding of cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and proper use of cleaning chemicals
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) when required
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a professional attitude
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards
- G license required with clean abstract
Pay: $17.20-$20.75 per hour
