Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and credit transactions
- Provide product demonstrations and upsell items when appropriate
- Manage customer inquiries via phone and in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to enhance product visibility
- Ensure checkout areas are clean, stocked, and well-organized
- Handle returns, exchanges, and resolve customer concerns efficiently
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
- Promote store promotions and new products to maximize sales opportunities
Skills
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic math for cashiering tasks
- Ability to perform product demos and engage customers through sales techniques including upselling
- Good organizational skills to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Knowledge of retail sales, merchandising, and cash handling procedures
- Strong phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Technical sales experience or familiarity with technology products is advantageous but not required
