Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist in food preparation according to recipes and standards
- Cook menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and timely service
- Assist in plating dishes and ensuring proper portioning
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including sanitizing surfaces and tools
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of service and quality
Experience
- Prior experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is essential
- Previous kitchen experience in the food industry will be advantageous
- Knowledge of meal preparation, cooking methods, and food industry best practices is desirable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness
