Job Summary
We are seeking vigilant and professional Event/Special Events/Club Security Guards to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and property during various events and club activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong presence, excellent de escelation and observational skills, and the ability to respond swiftly to incidents. This role is essential in maintaining a secure environment and providing exceptional customer service in dynamic settings.
Responsibilities
- Monitor event venues, entrances, and exits to prevent unauthorized access and maintain order.
- Enforce rules and regulations to ensure guest safety and adherence to venue policies
- Respond promptly to disturbances or emergencies, including assisting law enforcement when necessary.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify hazards or security breaches
- Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with team members and management digitally.
- Assist with crowd control during large events or peak times to ensure a safe environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, surveillance, or loss prevention is preferred
- Valid Ontario Security Security licence, Valid Smart Serve Certificate .
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert for extended periods
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Must be physically fit to stand for long durations and perform patrol duties
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional security certifications are a plus
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and special events
