Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Team Member to join our dynamic team in the food processing and manufacturing industry. This role involves supporting daily operations related to food packaging, sanitation, and safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining high standards in food safety and quality. Prior experience in the food industry or manufacturing environment is required; training will be provided to ensure all team members are equipped with the necessary Company standards and skills. This job is scheduled for Sunday to Thursday, 6 am to 2:30 pm. Some Friday's may be required from time to time.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food packaging processes, ensuring products are accurately and efficiently packed according to company standards
- Operate equipment such as labellers, heat seals and meat slicers and other machinery safely and effectively when trained
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Support food processing activities, including handling raw materials and finished products
- Follow proper procedures for food safety and quality assurance throughout all stages of production
- Perform basic math calculations for inventory and product measurements
- Adhere to safety protocols, including proper use of mechanical tools and sanitation equipment
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry, manufacturing, or food processing is mandatory; additional training will be provided
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with equipment operation are advantageous
- Strong understanding of sanitation standards and food safety regulations
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for inventory control and measurements
- Willingness to learn new skills related to packaging, equipment operation, and safety procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions carefully

Pay: $21.50-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
