Job Summary
NPLH Drilling is seeking dynamic and detail-oriented Reverse Circulation (RC) Supervisors to lead and oversee our RC drilling operations. In this role, you will manage a team of drill operators and technicians, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality drilling activities. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement in operational processes while maintaining strict adherence to safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
Duties
- Lead and supervise RC drilling teams, ensuring all operations are performed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
- Coordinate daily drilling schedules, resource allocation, and equipment maintenance to maximize productivity.
- Implement process improvements to enhance drilling techniques, reduce downtime, and increase overall operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies during all drilling activities.
- Oversee inventory management of drilling supplies, tools, and consumables.
- Conduct regular safety meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations for team members.
- Collaborate with project managers, supply chain teams, and clients to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Maintain detailed records of drilling activities, data analysis reports, and incident logs using Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing operational data and implementing best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in reverse circulation (RC) drilling or related mining operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in French or other languages are a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; forklift certification is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with safety standards related to mining and drilling activities.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
