Jagreen Enterprises Ltd is a Toronto-based wholesale giftware and customization company specializing in the secondary processing and distribution of imported goods for Canadian retail and tourism markets. We are seeking a qualified Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our warehouse operations and customization production workflow.
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day warehouse and customization workflow to ensure customer orders are processed accurately, completed on schedule, and prepared for shipment in accordance with client requirements.
Main Duties:
- Supervise, plan, assign and review the daily work of warehouse and production staff involved in receiving, storing, processing, packaging, labelling, shipping and distributing customized giftware products.
- Review daily customer orders, customization requirements and shipping deadlines; establish work priorities and coordinate the daily production and warehouse workflow to ensure orders are completed on schedule.
- Determine daily work assignments based on order volume, customization workload, incoming inventory and delivery timelines; monitor work progress and adjust task assignments as operational priorities change.
- Monitor product quality throughout the customization and order fulfillment process and verify that printing, labelling, packaging, product quantities and other client specifications are accurately completed before shipment.
- Review incoming goods and outgoing shipments, investigate inventory or order discrepancies, and take corrective action to address errors, delays and other operational issues.
- Train and provide ongoing guidance to new and existing workers on job duties, warehouse procedures, product handling, customization processes, quality standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels, organize periodic stock counts and annual inventory reconciliation, investigate inventory discrepancies, and prepare inventory reports and requisition supplies and materials as required.
- Review and maintain production, inventory, order fulfillment and shipping records using Microsoft Excel and inventory or order management systems; monitor outstanding orders and identify delays or workflow bottlenecks requiring follow-up.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend changes to staff assignments, order sequencing, inventory handling and work procedures to improve productivity, reduce errors and support on-time order completion.
- Ensure warehouse and production activities are carried out in accordance with workplace health and safety policies, procedures and applicable requirements; identify safety concerns and implement appropriate corrective measures.
- Communicate with suppliers, clients and management regarding inventory availability, order status, production schedules, customization requirements and delivery timelines.
- Monitor the operation and condition of warehouse equipment and customization machinery and coordinate routine maintenance or repair work when required.
- Provide ongoing feedback to supervised staff and participate in performance reviews and other performance management activities.
Education:
- Completion of a post-secondary education program is required; a degree or diploma in business, operations, supply chain, production, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, order fulfillment, or production coordination is required
- Experience coordinating daily workflow, assigning tasks, and monitoring work progress to meet operational deadlines is required
- Experience maintaining inventory records, conducting stock counts, and preparing operational reports using Microsoft Excel and tracking system is required
- Experience inspecting products or completed orders for quality, quantity, and accuracy against customer specifications is required.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Ability to communicate clearly in English (oral and written) with staff and clients
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety standards is an asset
Pay: $37.00 per hour
