Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a COOK. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals following established recipes and standards
- Serve food to customers efficiently and courteously
- Handle food safely, ensuring proper storage, sanitation, and cleanliness in accordance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment
- Support team members during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of shortages or issues
Experience
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety standards (such as HACCP)
- Experience in the food industry demonstrating ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong understanding of serving protocols and customer service excellence
- Previous roles involving meal preparation, food safety practices, or restaurant experience will be considered an asset
