JOB ROLE-Bilingual – Functional QA

Role Summary
We are seeking a Bilingual QA Analyst with strong banking domain experience to support enterprise‑scale banking applications across channels. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and product owners to ensure high‑quality delivery of banking solutions, performing functional, integration, UAT, and regression testing in Agile environments, while engaging with English‑ and French‑speaking users and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing for banking applications including payments, cards, accounts, lending, or wealth modules.
· Review and validate business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with BAs and Product Owners.
· Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts ensuring full requirements traceability.Log, track, triage, and retest defects using tools like JIRA ALM TestRail, and work closely with development teams through resolution cycles.Conduct and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions, walkthroughs, and defect clarifications with business users.Validate French and English UI content, including customer facing screens, notifications, forms, and reports.Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
· Ensure compliance with banking and regulatory standards (e.g., data privacy, security, audit requirements).Prepare QA status reports, test metrics, and release signoff documentation for stakeholders.
Required Skills Experience
· 5 years of QA experience in Banking Financial Services environments.Strong hands on experience in manual testing (functional, UAT, regression).
· Good understanding of core banking concepts payments, cards, account lifecycle, transactions, customer onboarding, or lending.
· Experience with Agile Scrum delivery models.
· Proficiency with QA tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail, Confluence.Bilingual proficiency in English and French (spoken and written) required for client and UAT interactions.Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Good to Have Skills
Exposure to QA automation tools (Selenium, UFT, API testing with PostmanREST).
Experience in Canadian banking programs or large North American banks.
Knowledge of wealth management cards insurance digital banking platforms.
Familiarity with compliance standards such as PCIDSS or SOX
Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON (Toronto District)
