Overview
We are seeking motivated Pizza Cooks who are passionate about food preparation and providing excellent food service. This role involves preparing, cooking, and assembling pizzas in a fast-paced setting while ensuring food safety standards are met. Whether you’re experienced in the food industry or eager to learn, this position offers a great opportunity to develop your culinary skills and be part of a lively team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, toppings, and ingredients with attention to quality and consistency
- Cook pizzas to perfection using ovens and other kitchen equipment
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety standards
- Serve customers efficiently at the counter or during takeout orders, ensuring a positive experience
- Follow all food handling procedures to uphold health regulations and safety protocols
- Support team members during busy periods by assisting with meal preparation and service
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is valued
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and meal preparation techniques
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities
- Basic understanding of cooking methods related to pizza preparation and food industry standards
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen
