Seasonal Processor
We are looking for general labourers to help process salmon and other seafood products.
We will have seasonal work until the beginning of December.
Workers coming from Campbell River area take the Ferry To Campbell River, and we then provide transportation from the Ferry to the plant.
There will be overtime.
Due to the seasonal nature of this work we will only consider applicants who live in the Campbell River or Quadra areas.

Tasks:
Clean, cut, pack salmon. Pack salmon roe. Case up products. Scrap sea cucumbers. General labour in a seafood processing plant.
Compensation:
Starting rate $19.25 with no previous experience.
Workers with 500 hours of seafood processing experience - $19.75
Workers with up to 1500 hours of seafood processing experience - $20.25
Employees with over 1500 hours of seafood experience $22.75.
All overtime is paid according to the Employment Standards Act of British Columbia.
1 break is deducted as the 30 minute meal break, all other breaks are paid time.
All required gear (boots, gloves, smocks, hairnets, hearing protection, etc.) is provided.
We provide coffee and tea for breaks, you must bring your own food.
We have wifi available for employees during break times.
We provide transportation from the Ferry terminal on Quadra to the Plant and back.
We provide a travel allowance of $5.00 per day to help cover the cost of walking on the ferry.
