Job Description
FIX AUTO LANGLEY is seeking a skilled and motivated Body Shop Technician to join our collision repair team. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles, restoring them to pre-accident condition, and ensuring all repairs meet quality, safety, and manufacturer standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform collision and body repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Repair, replace, and align damaged body panels and components.
- Complete structural and non-structural repairs.
- Operate frame straightening and measuring equipment.
- Perform welding, metal finishing, panel fitting, and related repair work.
- Review repair orders and follow repair procedures accurately.
- Work closely with estimators, painters, and other technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Ensure all repairs meet company quality standards and manufacturer specifications.
Schedule
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime as required
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Body Shop Technician, Auto Body Technician, or Collision Repair Technician.
- Strong knowledge of collision repair techniques and equipment.
- Experience with structural repairs, welding, and panel replacement.
- Ability to read and follow repair estimates and work orders.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- I-CAR, OEM certifications, or Red Seal certification are considered assets.
