Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager - Sales to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in B2B sales, technology sales, and business development. This role involves developing strategic sales initiatives, managing key accounts, and fostering long-term client relationships to expand our market presence. The Senior Manager - Sales will play a critical role in shaping our sales strategies and ensuring the achievement of revenue targets through innovative approaches and effective team management.
Duties
- Lead and motivate the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets through coaching and strategic guidance.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives, focusing on B2B markets and technology solutions.
- Manage key client accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through exceptional customer service.
- Identify new business opportunities via market analysis, networking, and outreach efforts in outside sales environments.
- Oversee the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including negotiation and contract management.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop campaigns that support sales initiatives and brand positioning.
- Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce to track sales activities, analyze performance metrics, and generate reports for senior leadership.
- Conduct analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic planning.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the sales team through training on technical sales, negotiation skills, and account management best practices.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility.
Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B sales, with a focus on technology or technical products.
- Strong background in outside sales, account management, and business development.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing complex deals.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms such as Salesforce for managing customer relationships and analyzing data.
- Exceptional analysis skills to interpret market data, forecast trends, and develop actionable insights.
- Effective communication skills tailored for engaging clients at all levels of an organization.
- Knowledge of marketing principles as they relate to driving sales growth.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally within the organization.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field is preferred; relevant experience may substitute for formal education. Pay: $70,200.00-$120,000.00 per year
