We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will utilize accounting software to ensure accurate and timely financial data entry and reporting, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software - Swedamart
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis to ensure data accuracy
- Assist with account reconciliation and review financial statements for discrepancies
- Support payroll processing and related documentation
- Prepare budgets and assist with financial forecasting as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Generate reports for management review and audit purposes
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, with proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to perform account analysis and budgeting tasks effectively
- Familiarity with payroll processing is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Prior experience in small business or corporate accounting environments is preferred
