- Familiarity with Manufacturing Procedures and Welding Manual.
- Safe operation of overhead cranes and lift trucks.
- Set-up and operation of equipment in a safe and competent manner.
- Maintain a tight manufacturing schedule and strict quality controls.
- Be responsible for daily general maintenance of equipment and manufacturing areas.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing welding.
- Candidate must have welding certification with CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) or (documented equivalent) in MIG and other welding disciplines.
- Aluminum welding experience is required; steel welding experience would be an asset.
- Knowledge in the accurate use of measuring instruments is required.
- Familiarity with all materials used within the department.
- Candidate must have the ability to verbally communicate, read and write fluently in English.
- Must have the ability to follow factory work orders, as well as understand and interpret product drawings and schematics for welding and assembly.
- Must be able to perform assembly and material handling tasks, including lifting to 50lbs.
- Must be a team player.
