Duties
- Participate in imunizations programs
- Support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Assist with organizing medication inventories and maintaining stock levels
- Engage with patients to answer basic medication-related questions under supervision
- Learn and apply medical terminology relevant to pharmacy operations and patient care
- Help document prescriptions, patient information, and inventory records with attention to detail
- Participate in pharmacy cleanliness and safety protocols to ensure a compliant environment
- Shadow licensed pharmacists during consultations and medication counseling sessions
Requirements
- Pharmacy intern with injection permit
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and pharmacy-related procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with team members and patients
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning about pharmacy practice and healthcare delivery
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- Prior experience in a healthcare or customer service setting is a plus but not required
Pay: $18.00-$21.50 per hour
Expected hours: 6.0 – 16.0 per week
