CLASS 1, TRUCK DRIVER
We are looking for Company Drivers AND Sub Contractors who own their own personal truck too haul throughout Western Canada and BC with Super B train experience an asset but willing to train. Mostly running sand(dry and wet) and matts currently.
Responsibilities:
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
- Know, understand, and apply Federal Hours of Service regulations in driving and operating
- use Electronic Logging Device (ELD) for recording of Hours of Service as well as for Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR)
- Excellent attendance, dependability and work records along with clean work habits.
- Ability to deal professionally with all management, peers and customers.
- You will be required to sleep in your truck, hotels/camp jobs are not supplied
- Shift work will be required
Qualifications:
- Class 1 Drivers license
- Clean Commercial Driver's Abstract (CDA)
- H2S
- First Aid
- CSO (Common Safety Orientation)
- TDG
- WHMIS
- Must be able to drive 18 speed
