About Us:
Glenform Building Ltd. specializes in concrete formwork with a strong domestic and international presence in the construction industry.
We are currently seeking a Crane Rigger to assist in lifting operations on active construction sites throughout Vancouver. The successful candidate will work closely with crane operators, site supervisors, and crew members to ensure all rigging activities are conducted safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rig loads for mobile and tower cranes in accordance with site plans
- Communicate with crane operators using hand / radio signals
- Inspect rigging gear, hardware, and equipment before use
- Secure loads using slings, chokers, shackles
- Work closely with site supervisors to plan lifts and maintain safe working areas
- Perform daily safety checks and report any potential hazards or equipment issues
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of rigging experience on construction sites (formwork preferred)
- Valid BC Crane Rigger Ticket / Certificate
- Strong knowledge of safe rigging practices, including proper use of slings, chokers, and shackles
- Capable of clear communication and signals with crane operators
- Confident in WorkSafeBC safety standards and crane operations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00-$35.00 per hour
