Job Summary
We are seeking a FULLY LICENSED or registered apprentice.
Our Ideal candidate is a talented and passionate Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic and growing team who possesses a strong background in barbering and hair styling as well as customer service. This role involves not only performing haircuts and styling but also engaging with customers to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring they leave feeling satisfied and confident . Being committed to providing exceptional experiences for our clients with hot shaves to complete their time with you is why they return time and time again.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality precision haircuts, fades , styling and grooming services tailored to each individual client's preferences, which may also include hot shaves.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Engage with clients in a friendly manner, offering consultations to determine desired services.
- Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance the client experience using zero pressure while meeting sales goals.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, checking clients in/out, handling debit/cash payments, answering phones, greeting clients and general inquiries.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling techniques and products to provide informed recommendations to clients.

Skills
- Proficient in various hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and texturizing and providing hot towel shaves with straight razor.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff.
- Ability to upsell services and products effectively while maintaining a positive client experience.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients on and off the phone as well as team members.
- Experience in retail sales is a plus, helping to promote salon products effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Pay: $17.20-$39.59 per hour
