Summary
We require someone who has a minimum of three years experience with operating a manual lathe and a mill.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Operate manual lathe and milling machines to produce high-quality metal components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Follow work order instructions to customers requirements.
- Validate quality of products.
- Record dimensions and highlight deviated dimensions.
- Set up and calibrate machines according to project requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the shop.
- Work independently.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools like calipers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
