Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and comply with relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of quality management systems and the ability to perform thorough inspections using various precision measuring instruments.
Duties
- Conduct quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications
- Food safety
- Health and safety documentation
- Utilize tools such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines to perform accurate measurements.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, CGMP, and FDA regulations.
- Perform quality audits and assist in the development of quality control procedures.
- Analyze data collected during inspections to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain documentation related to quality control activities and ensure compliance with HACCP standards.
- Operate vision inspection systems for automated quality assessments.
Skills
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers.
- Produce experience an asset
- Strong understanding of quality systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, CGMP, HACCP, and FDA regulations.
- Experience with quality audits and implementing QA/QC processes.
- Excellent analysis skills for data collection and interpretation.
- Familiarity with Calypso software for measurement analysis is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
