We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Professional Mover to join our team. We are hoping to find a friendly and positive individual to help in the relocation of local families. This role involves assisting clients with moving and relocation services, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of household or commercial items. The ideal candidate will have experience working on a team and lifting heavy items whether in the gym or for work, with a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where teamwork and physical endurance are essential.
Duties
- Load and unload furniture, appliances, and other heavy items using appropriate equipment such as straps and furniture dollies.
- Show up with a positive attitude and a willingness to help.
- Safely move items within households, trucks, or client locations while adhering to safety protocols
- Assist with packing, wrapping, and securing items for transport to prevent damage during transit
- Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of moving tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas during and after operations. This includes folding furniture pads and removing tape at the end of the job to ensure the work truck is ready for the next job.
Experience
- Background in construction or heavy lifting activities is a plus
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly and perform strenuous tasks for extended periods
- Experience working on a team, specifically in a sports setting may be a plus!
This role requires a dedicated individual capable of working in physically demanding environments while maintaining high safety standards. We want someone that will protect clients furniture as if it's their own and can ease the stress of a moving day on our clients.
Pay: $23.50-$27.00 per hour
