Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. Reporting to the Controller, this role is responsible for managing cash deposits, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions while helping to strengthen financial processes across the organization.
What you'll do
- Audit daily till cashouts and prepare bank deposits
- Manage central cash and coin floats and fulfill change requests
- Manage accounts payable process from new vendor applications to weekly cheque payment runs
- Manage accounts receivable process including follow-up on overdue accounts
- Perform accurate bookkeeping entries and maintain an organized filing system
- Collaborate with team members to develop financial knowledge and best practices
- Continuously evaluate financial processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Who we're looking for
Education
- Accounting diploma or equivalent
Experience
- Minimum two years full-time experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
Skills & Attributes
- Comfortable using technology and accounting software including Excel
- Highly organized, accurate and detail-orientated
- Self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to manage routine and complex tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
