Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various manual tasks across different work sites, supporting project completion, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, adaptable, and eager to contribute to team success in a fast-paced setting.
Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing, and setting up tools and supplies
- Support skilled tradespeople with basic tasks as needed
- Perform general manual labor such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment
- Maintain cleanliness of the work site throughout the day
- Assist in the disposal of waste and debris in accordance with environmental standards
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Prior experience in manual labor or construction
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures and willingness to adhere to safety guidelines
- Reliable transportation or means to commute to various job sites
- Must be able to pass any required background checks or drug screenings as applicable
Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
