Overview
Travelodge Lindsay is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and comfort in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. This role offers an opportunity to work in a friendly hotel environment, contributing to our commitment to exceptional guest service. Prior experience in cleaning or custodial work, especially within hotels or hospitality settings, is preferred but not required. A strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards
- Change bed linens, replenish amenities, and ensure all surfaces are spotless
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, and other common spaces
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Assist with laundry duties as needed
- Ensure guest privacy and confidentiality at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
- Good communication skills and a friendly attitude towards guests and team members
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including standing for extended periods and lifting light loads
- Knowledge of industrial or hotel cleaning practices is a plus
Pay: $17.60 per hour
