Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Provide product knowledge related to gardening, horticulture, landscape maintenance, and merchandising
- Maintain clean and organized displays to enhance visual appeal and product accessibility
- Support e-commerce initiatives by assisting customers with online orders or inquiries
- Engage in upselling and suggestive selling to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations
- Assist with merchandising strategies to promote seasonal or featured products
- Handle customer inquiries professionally, addressing concerns promptly and courteously
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and merchandising techniques
- Familiarity with gardening, horticulture, landscape maintenance, or related fields is a plus
- Multilingual skills are advantageous for serving a diverse customer base
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with customers effectively
- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain store presentation
