At James Braden Nissan, we believe exceptional customer service starts with exceptional people. We are currently seeking a professional, customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team on a full-time temporary contract.
As the primary connection between our guests and our service department, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming, transparent, and positive service experience. You'll work closely with customers, technicians, and the parts department to ensure every vehicle receives the care it needs while keeping guests informed every step of the way.
What You'll Do
- Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle needs.
- Schedule service appointments and manage repair orders.
- Communicate technician findings clearly and professionally.
- Provide transparent recommendations based on technician inspections and manufacturer maintenance schedules, always with the customer's best interests in mind.
- Prepare estimates and explain repairs in a clear, honest, and easy-to-understand manner.
- Keep customers informed throughout the repair process.
- Coordinate with technicians, the parts department, and warranty administrators.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience from vehicle drop-off to pick-up.
- Build long-term relationships through trust, communication, and outstanding service.
Qualifications
- Previous Service Advisor or automotive customer service experience is considered an asset.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude with a genuine desire to help customers.
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Ontario Class G driver's licence with a clean driving record.
