Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our automotive repair team. The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle collision repair, a strong understanding of automotive systems, and proficiency with various hand and power tools. The Auto Body Technician will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring safety and durability standards are met.
Duties
- Repair and replace damaged vehicle panels, frames, and structural components using appropriate tools and techniques
- Perform dent removal, sanding, priming, and painting to restore vehicles to factory standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely and effectively during repairs
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify additional damages or necessary repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members and communicate progress or issues promptly
- Follow all safety protocols and manufacturer specifications during repair processes
Qualifications
- Previous dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques
- Strong understanding of automotive repair procedures and safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Mechanic experience is highly desirable
- Valid driver’s license is preferred but not required
