What our stylists do:
You will provide various hair services and treatments that improve the guest’s overall sense of well-being and enhances the client experience. Services include men and women haircuts, Kids cuts, perms, coloring, highlighting, waxing and foiling that meet or exceed client expectations.
Job duties include:
- Provides individualized hair services and treatments that meet the clients’ needs and expectations
- Educates clients on Haircare and Salon products, services, and treatments to assist them in maintaining their style
- Serves as an expert in hair analysis, maintenance regimens while staying current in style and technique
- Promote and consult on purchase of Hair care and styling products, services and treatments
- Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry
- Maintain a professional attitude and keep work station clean to meet salon.
Position Requirements
- Completed or Completing Cosmetology or Barbering school. Applicant must be already licensed or working towards obtaining a cosmetology license in Ontario.
- 2 to 3 years of experience as a stylist is preferred.
- Ability to perform various types of hair services and treatments
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest and commissions
- Cheerful personality and strong verbal communication skills.
You will earn a competitive pay package that include a base wage plus a biweekly performance bonus and product sales commissions. Plus earn and keep substantial tips. Compensation can be flexible depending on past working experience and qualifications.
