Job description: Fire Alarm Technician Assistant.
The successful candidate will ensure that the highest standard of system reliability and client satisfaction are met
Under the direction of the certified technician, perform verifications and inspections on fire alarm systems
Under the direction of the certified technician, assist in the complete work orders and report in a timely fashion
Proficient in problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
Excellent communication; to customers, coworkers, and non-technical staff
Travels to properties and maintains proper handling/care of testing/inspections tools, equipment, and materials
Must strive to be fully licensed/ Certified Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) within 1 year of employment.
Two years of community college in electronics is desired, or equivalent training or work experience will be an asset
Previous training/experience in fire alarm systems or electrics is an assist
Proficient in the use of computers
Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record
Exceptional customer service skills and organizational skills
