About the Role
Hot Water LeisureScapes is actively hiring an experienced Senior Service Technician to join our growing service department immediately.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone with previous hot tub and/or swim spa industry experience who can quickly learn our systems and processes, work independently in the field, and confidently handle diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and customer service.
We are looking for someone dependable, mechanically skilled, organized, and professional with customers. The right candidate must be able to step into a fast-paced service environment with minimal training and hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair hot tubs and swim spas
- Perform scheduled maintenance and service calls
- Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, heating, and water care related issues
- Complete drain & cleans, equipment replacements, cover installs, and warranty work
- Assist with hot tub deliveries and installations when required
- Maintain accurate service records using mobile software and forms
- Communicate professionally with customers and teammates
- Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and work area
- Work independently while representing the company professionally in the field
Requirements
- Previous experience servicing hot tubs and/or swim spas is REQUIRED
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Experience using hand tools, testing equipment, and volt meters
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
- Valid Canadian Class 5 Driver’s License with clean abstract (non-GDL)
- Bondable and able to pass police clearance
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Physically capable of lifting and handling spa equipment and components
- Comfortable using Microsoft 365, mobile apps, and digital service forms
- Own steel-toed boots and appropriate outdoor workwear
- Personal cell phone with reliable cellular data required ($30/month stipend provided)
Schedule
- Tuesday to Saturday
- Start time: 8:30 AM
- Overtime available during peak season
- Some Sunday or Monday shifts may be required during busy periods
