As we continue expanding our client base, we are looking for a motivated and outgoing Business Development Representative to help connect local businesses with Navatek's technology solutions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting new people, building professional relationships, and helping businesses discover technology solutions that improve their operations.
This is a 2-month fixed-term contract with the opportunity for extension based on performance, business needs, and company growth.
Position Overview
As a Business Development Representative, you will play an important role in expanding Navatek's presence within the local business community.
You will connect with business owners, managers, and decision-makers to introduce Navatek's IT services, identify potential opportunities, and support the sales process from initial contact through successful client engagement.
This is a relationship-focused sales position designed for someone who enjoys communication, networking, and achieving measurable results.
What You'll Do
- Visit local businesses and introduce Navatek's IT solutions.
- Build relationships with business owners and key decision-makers.
- Identify organizations that may benefit from managed IT and cybersecurity services.
- Generate qualified leads and schedule consultations.
- Assist with the sales process and help convert opportunities into successful client relationships.
- Promote Navatek's services, including:
- Managed IT Services
- Cybersecurity Solutions
- Networking Solutions
- Device Deployment
- Cloud Solutions
- E-Waste Recycling Services
- Follow up with prospective clients through phone and email.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
- Represent Navatek professionally within the community.
- Work toward weekly business development objectives.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, professional, and confident communicating with people.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Organized with strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Comfortable approaching businesses and introducing professional services.
- Interested in technology, sales, and relationship building.
- Previous sales, customer service, or business development experience is an asset but not required.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Holds a valid Ontario G driver's licence.
- Has reliable personal transportation and is comfortable travelling locally for business development activities.
