We are a fast-paced sports management company seeking a highly organized and autonomous Soccer League, Tournament & Program Administrator. Operating out of our brand-new indoor soccer facility, you will serve as the primary operational contact for youth and adult sports programs across the Tri-City area, with additional support provided to our Greater Toronto Area (GTA) leagues. While soccer programs (including adult leagues, youth competitive/house leagues, clinics, and camps) make up over 90% of your focus, you will also assist with other sports programming. This role offers excellent autonomy while remaining fully supported by our league management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Program & Facility Administration: Coordinate adult leagues, youth house leagues, competitive programs, camps, and training clinics. Assist with daily on-site administrative tasks at our new indoor facility.
- League Operations & Communication: Act as the primary point person for teams, players, parents, coaches, team managers, and soccer governing bodies.
- Relationship Management: Maintain key relationships with vendors, suppliers, and external partners.
- Scheduling & Permitting: Coordinate comprehensive match and training schedules, referee assignments, and secure all required field permits. [4, 5]
- Financial Oversight: Manage league budgets and handle the collection of registration fees. [6]
- Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and manage game-day staff, field convenors, and program instructors.
- Marketing & Reporting: Coordinate social media activity and digital updates. Generate regular financial, operational, and incident/injury reports for management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience (Required): Previous professional or volunteer experience in sports league, tournament, or program administration.
- Soccer Background: Deep understanding of soccer culture and rules. Familiarity with governing bodies is highly valued.
- Skills: Exceptional dispute resolution, multitasking, budgeting, and organizational skills. Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Mobility: Ability to work on-site at our Tri-City facility, with a willingness to travel occasionally to the GTA if required.
Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
