Automotive Service Advisor
Eurospec Motorwerks – Calgary, AB
Full-Time | Permanent
Compensation: $60,000–$90,000+ per year, based on experience and performance
Eurospec Motorwerks is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our team.
We’re an independent European automotive shop built around quality work, strong relationships, and doing things the right way. We’ve grown quickly, and we’re looking for someone who wants more than just a job at the front counter.
We want someone who wants to take ownership, help build the department, and grow with the company.
Who We’re Looking For
The right person is organized, confident, positive, and genuinely enjoys dealing with people.
You should be able to manage a busy day without losing track of the details, communicate clearly with both clients and technicians, and take responsibility for the customer experience from beginning to end.
Most importantly, we want someone who believes in educating clients rather than pressuring them.
Our ideal Service Advisor:
- Takes ownership instead of waiting to be told what to do
- Communicates clearly and consistently
- Pays attention to the small details
- Builds trust with clients
- Can confidently present estimates and recommendations
- Understands that follow-up is part of the job
- Stays composed when the shop gets busy
- Works well with technicians and the rest of the front-of-house team
- Has a positive, team-first attitude
- Wants to learn, improve, and grow professionally
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Greeting and checking in clients
- Answering incoming calls professionally and enthusiastically
- Scheduling appointments
- Creating and managing repair orders
- Gathering accurate information about client concerns
- Communicating with technicians throughout the repair process
- Preparing and presenting estimates
- Explaining recommended repairs in a clear, easy-to-understand way
- Obtaining client approvals
- Providing proactive vehicle updates
- Managing work-in-progress and promised completion times
- Coordinating vehicle pickup and delivery
- Following up with clients after repairs
- Helping identify deferred maintenance and future service needs
- Maintaining accurate customer and vehicle records
- Helping create an exceptional, consistent experience every time someone deals with Eurospec
What We Expect
At Eurospec, being busy isn’t an excuse for poor communication or things falling through the cracks.
We expect our advisors to take responsibility for their clients, their repair orders, and the commitments they make.
You don’t need to know everything on day one, but you need to be someone who asks questions, learns quickly, accepts feedback, and wants to get better.
Previous automotive service advising experience is strongly preferred. Experience with European vehicles is an asset.
Why Eurospec?
We’re building something bigger than a typical repair shop.
Our goal is to create a workplace where great people have clear expectations, real responsibility, opportunities to grow, and are rewarded when the company performs.
When Eurospec wins, the team wins.
If you’re looking for a place where you can take ownership, contribute ideas, develop your career, and be part of building a high-performing team, we’d like to meet you.
Apply with your resume and tell us a little about yourself and why you think you’d be a good fit for Eurospec Motorwerks.
