Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Golf Course Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing golf course equipment, including golf carts, mowing equipment, tractors, and other turf maintenance machinery. This role is essential to keeping course operations running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on golf carts and turf equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on mowing equipment, tractors, utility vehicles, and small engines
- Sharpen and adjust mower blades and cutting units
- Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Maintain repair logs and service records
- Order and manage parts and supplies as needed
- Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
- Assist grounds maintenance team when required
Qualifications
- Experience repairing golf carts, mowing equipment, tractors, and turf maintenance machinery
- Knowledge of gas and diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems efficiently
- Welding and fabrication experience is considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license required
