Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled excavtor / equipment operator to join our team. As a operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment to perform various tasks such as excavating, grading, backfill, truck managnment, water/sewer hookup, etc.... This is a fulltime position with competitive pay.
Responsibilities:
- Control dig, manage foundation excavations, operate excavators (4 - 30t) skid steer track loaders. Dozer, grader and other equipment experience a bonus.
- 5+ years experience preferred, strong communication, and daily attendance required.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating the equipment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Proficient in excavator / equipment operation
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment
- Experience in other equipment, carry class 1 or 3 license is a bonus
- Commercial driving experience is preferred
- Ability to accurately grade and operate other heavy equipment is an asset
