Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to standard recipes and customer preferences
- Use POS systems like Micros POS to process orders and payments efficiently
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including billing and change issuance
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety
- Follow all food safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant or food industry settings is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling and bill calculations
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- Hospitality experience is a plus, demonstrating a commitment to creating an inviting atmosphere for guests
