We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to help develop the next generation of TEKTELIC IoT sensors. You will work on resource-constrained, battery-powered devices that integrate sensing, wireless communications, power management, and embedded intelligence into reliable products deployed around the world.

Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software for efficient and reliable wireless devices
- Implement software interfaces and drivers from datasheets and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software components.
- Provide timely support for new features and bug fixes.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high software quality.
- Document development processes, code, and innovations.
- Assist in the definition of software requirements and system architecture.
- Estimate timelines and provide risk assessments for planning and tracking work.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in embedded software development.
- Strong C programming skills, especially working with resource constrained systems.
- Solid understanding of microcontroller architectures and their peripheral interfaces.
- Proficiency with development tools and environments for embedded systems.
- Experience with system verification and validation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with other engineers and non-technical team members.
Desirable Skills
- Passion for emerging technologies and a drive to create innovative solutions.
- Knowledge of IoT communication protocols like LoRaWAN and Bluetooth.
- Prior experience with medical device software processes or other safety-critical development.
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment using agile processes
- Experience with real-time signal processing development and algorithm development.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash and Javascript.
- Familiarity with modern testing approaches such as unit testing and behavioural-driven-development (BDD)
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) or embedded Linux.
Pay: $67,320.22-$113,788.07 per year
