Duties
- Prepare and serve beverages and food items according to established recipes and standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Manage guest orders efficiently, ensuring timely service and upselling where appropriate
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering to food safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation tasks to support kitchen operations
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, addressing inquiries, and ensuring satisfaction
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve guests promptly
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Uphold all health and safety standards related to food handling and sanitation
Skills
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Background in food service or restaurant industry experience is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations for transactions
- Experience in food handling, food preparation, and hospitality environments
- Effective communication skills for guest interactions and team collaboration
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience
- Familiarity with cashiering, food industry standards, and serving techniques
